San Jose United Methodist Church
is located at 600 South 1st Street
at the corner of 1st and Linden Street.
The Building and Congregation have a rich history which includes both an English and German Methodist heirtage. One of the distinguishing features of the San Jose UMC sanctuary is the beautiful stained glass windows picturing various biblical scenes, events, and parables which enhances the worship experience.
A new Fellowship Hall, bathrooms, and modern kitchen make the church a tool for ministy and a favorite place for family and community gatherings.
From Illinois Route 136 in San Jose, turn south on 1st Street (One block west of the Casey's) and proceed south 6 blocks. The Church is located on your left (east side of 1st Street).
Come and join us for Worship at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday morning.
